The Assignment

Our Client is seeking an experienced Electrician or Electrical Trades Assistant to start immediately.

About You

We are looking for a skilled and licensed electrician or electrical trade assistant to join our team. If you are passionate about safety, quality work, and have the qualifications and skills below, we encourage you to apply!

Mandatory Requirements:

• Current Queensland Electrical Work License
• Electrical Trade Qualification (minimum Certificate III in Electrotechnology or Electrical Fitting)
• Current CPR and Low Voltage Rescue Certificate
• Current Construction Industry White Card
• Valid Queensland "C" class driver’s license (or equivalent)
• Knowledge of and compliance with safety regulations (including AS/NZ3000, Electrical Safety Act 2002, and more)
• Eligibility to work in Australia

Skills Needed:

• Perform electrical work, testing, and maintenance using safety gear.
• Read and understand electrical blueprints, diagrams, and technical documents.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and electronic data entry.
• Knowledge of safe work methods regarding asbestos, lead, and other high-risk materials.
• Follow Work Health and Safety (WHS) rules, perform risk assessments, and ensure a safe work environment.
• Take responsibility for your safety and the safety of others on-site.
• Support a diverse, fair, and safe workplace with a strong focus on customer service.
• Mentor and guide apprentices at all levels.
