The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive individual with strong skills in stakeholder engagement to join our team for a year contract. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about building and maintaining positive relationships with key stakeholders and ensuring effective communication across various projects

Key Responsibilities:

• Actively engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and concerns, and maintain strong, positive relationships
• Facilitate clear and timely communication between stakeholders and internal teams
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth project delivery and alignment with stakeholder expectations
• Assist in drafting stakeholder communication materials, with training provided to develop government-specific writing skills

For this role we will be looking for skilled communicators with strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to manage multiple project requests and prioritize tasks. Organisation will be a must.

About You

Experience in a strategic communication or community engagement role in an environment dealing with major infrastructure projects, particularly in the transport or civil engineering sector, will also be highly regarded.

• Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Basic writing skills (training will be provided for writing for government)
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail

Marketing, social media, or event management skills are not necessary for this role.
