The Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills, a passion for financial excellence, and a desire to make an impact within the local government sector. As a key member of the finance team reporting to the Manager of Finance, you will manage financial reporting, budgeting, asset management, and financial compliance. You'll lead process improvements, ensuring efficiency and adherence to statutory requirements.

About You

You’re a proven leader with a strong background in financial accounting and experience in driving high-performance teams and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

Your expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and asset management is complemented by your technical knowledge of IT systems and process mapping.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• CPA or CA Equivalent
• Degree in Business, Commerce or Accounting
• C class drivers’ licence
• Experience in local government sector (preferably)
