The Client

A strong Government Department is looking for a Business Support Officer to come in and help their staff and be a part of their team.

Your Opportunity:
This is a busy role with constant interruptions – must have good time management skills and are looking for candidates with commitment to working 36.25 hours per week.

About You

• Provide efficient, high-standard customer service to both internal and external customers.
• Monitor and manage internal and external correspondence, ensuring timely responses within required time frames.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, adhering to KPIs and performance monitoring mechanisms.
• Build strong connections with industry partners, local suppliers, and internal/external stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery of services.
• Contribute positively to team culture and demonstrate professionalism in all interactions.
• Perform recurring tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Maintain high standards when compiling documents, reports, and updating records using systems such as Ellipse and Microsoft Office.
• Handle inquiries directed to senior staff in their absence, ensuring timely and appropriate responses.
• Possess high-level Excel skills, including the ability to work with complex dat
