This Client is located in Central Western Queensland is situated 700 kilometres from the coast, west of Rockhampton. The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Childcare Services Director to lead a well-established childcare centre with 135 placements in regional Queensland. This position offers excellent remuneration, travel and accommodation support, and the potential for a temp-to-perm transition.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the daily operations of the childcare centre, ensuring high-quality education and care.
• Supervise and support three direct reports, fostering a positive and professional team environment.
• Develop and implement strategic and operational plans in alignment with organisational objectives.
• Ensure compliance with National Quality Standards (NQS), Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations.
• Engage effectively with children, families, staff, and external stakeholders.
• Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and resource management to ensure sustainability.

About You

• High-level leadership and people management skills.
• Strong strategic planning, budgeting, and operational management abilities.
• Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills.
• In-depth understanding of safety regulations and workplace compliance.
• Extensive understanding of early childhood development and program planning.
• Comprehensive knowledge of National Quality Standards (NQS) and state/territory regulations.
• Experience in maintaining a safe and compliant working environment.
• Tertiary qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• LR Class Driver’s License
• Working with Children Blue Card. Current Child Protection Training Certification.
• Current First Aid Certification (HLTAID011 - Provide Emergency First Aid Response in an Education and Care Setting).
• Proven experience in early childhood services leadership.
