The Opportunity

Are you passionate about workplace health and safety? Do you have the expertise to drive WHS initiatives and ensure compliance with legislative regulations? We are seeking a dedicated Health and Safety Business Partner to join our team in Cairns.

About The Role

• Manage the ongoing development, implementation, and evaluation of WHS initiatives.
• Lead the continuous improvement of the WHS Management System.
• Ensure compliance with relevant OH&S legislative regulations, Codes of Practice, and Performance Standards for Self-Insurers (PSSI).
• Partner with departments to effectively implement the WHS Management System.
• Monitor and report on WHS trends, statistical data, and Return to Work (RTW) progress to key stakeholders.

About You

• Bachelor of Occupational Health and Safety (BOHS) or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience in WHS management and compliance.
• Strong ability to engage and collaborate with key business partners.
• Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
