Exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Carpenter to join a busy team, with varied manual duties in a Government Organisation that is part of the heart of the Townsville community.

The Opportunity:

Are you a qualified Carpenter looking for a rewarding opportunity in Townsville? We are seeking a skilled and motivated tradesperson to join our team. This role offers the chance to work on diverse projects, both independently and within a small team, while expanding your skills across multiple trades.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform carpentry trade work to a high standard.
• Collaborate effectively in a small team or work independently as required.
• Undertake cross-trade tasks, demonstrating a multi-skilled approach.
• Utilize sound computer skills to assist with job documentation.
• Adhere to Workplace Health & Safety (WH&S) standards and procedures.
• Travel as required, including overnight stays of up to 4 nights and occasional travel by light aircraft

About You

• Qualifications: Trade qualification in carpentry (highly desirable) or Construction industry trade qualification (highly desirable).
• Licensing: Current Driver's License and Workplace Health & Safety General Safety Induction Card.
• Experience: Proven carpentry skills with the flexibility to perform cross-trade tasks.
• Travel: Willingness to travel extensively, including overnight stays of up to 4 nights and occasional light aircraft travel.
