The Opportunity

Are you an experienced Project Manager looking for your next opportunity in Rockhampton? We are seeking a skilled professional to oversee building project implementation from pre-design to post-construction, ensuring high-quality project delivery that meets client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of building project implementation, including design, documentation, contract administration, and post-construction activities.
• Coordinate teams, including project staff, consultants, contractors, and business units, to achieve project objectives.
• Provide expert contract coordination, working with both traditional and non-traditional contract systems.
• Ensure project success by meeting client scope, time, cost, and quality requirements while maintaining QBuild profitability.
• Lead negotiations with consultants, stakeholders, authorities, and contractors to deliver value-for-money solutions.
• Monitor project performance, control variances, and generate exception reports to keep projects on track.
• Assist senior leadership in determining service fees and managing client billing approvals.
• Uphold quality assurance procedures and mentor a team of Project Managers and staff.
• Proactively manage team performance and professional conduct.

About You:

• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing large-scale building projects from conception to completion.
• Ability to drive contract administration and financial oversight.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor teams.
