The Opportunity

Join a Local Council dedicated to delivering safe and sustainable water and wastewater services across regional Queensland.

As the Water and Wastewater Coordinator you’ll oversee critical water infrastructure operations across multiple towns within Central Western Queensland. Operations include maintenance programs, budget planning, leading and supervising operational staff. This role requires hands-on leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to respond to after-hours emergencies as needed.

About You

We are looking for an experienced professional with:

• A Plumbing Licence or Certificate III in Water Operations (or higher)
• Experience in water/wastewater treatment operations in a supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of water supply reticulation, disinfection, and wastewater treatment processes
