POSITION

We have a full-time position for a Laboratory Manager in Mission Beach, QLD 4852.

SKILL

The position requires a bachelor’s degree & at least 3 years relevant experience in agricultural science.

RESPONSIBILITES

As the Laboratory Manager, you will manage the laboratory to ensure quality and consistency of the banana tissue culture process. This is a hands-on role overseeing daily operations, meeting production deadlines and reviewing policies and procedures and implanting change. The role is crucial in ensuring the laboratory’s success in producing high-quality, disease-free banana plants for agricultural purposes.

POSITION DUTIES

The position will require you to undertake the following duties:

• Coordination and management of laboratory activities
• Quality Control and consistency
• Research and development support
• Health and Safety compliance
• Staff supervision and training
• Problem-Solving
• Data management and reporting
• Maintaining laboratory equipment

SALARY

The salary offered will be $70,000 - $90,000 per annum negotiated based on your experience.
