POSITION

We have full-time positions for Fruit Pickers available in Mena Creek QLD 4871

SKILLS

To perform the role of Fruit Picker you require at least 1-year relevant job experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Your role as a Fruit Picker is to perform routine tasks as directed at assisting with banana harvest and packaging.

DUTIES

Receiving and accepting tasks to be performed.

• Participate in any training required to perform tasks.
• Cutting, harvesting of Bananas.
• Transporting harvested Bananas to packing shed.
• De suckering, deleafing and stringing bananas.
• Cleaning and preparing equipment for use.
• Hanging, dehanding and washing bananas.
• Clustering, grading, sorting and packing bananas
• Labelling and stamping produce for distribution.
• Weighing, stacking and strapping banana pellets
• Unpacking and storing farm supplies.
• Maintaining infield irrigation.
• Washing, cleaning and sterilising equipment and machinery.
• Additional duties as required by the business.

SALARY

The salary offered is $60,000 - $75,000 negotiated based on experience.
