This Government Agency is well established in Queensland and is in charge of all the infrastructures throughout.

The Opportunity

Are you an experienced construction professional with a passion for leadership and project delivery? Our Client is seeking a skilled and motivated Supervisor to join our team in Bundaberg!

In this key supervisory position, you will oversee maintenance contracts and building projects, ensuring timely, high-quality outcomes. You will work closely with office staff, field crews, and subcontractors to deliver construction and maintenance services across a range of government assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality tender and quotation documentation for building and maintenance projects.

• Deliver accurate estimates, trade packages, material lists, and construction programs.

• Supervise the delivery of construction, maintenance, and upgrade works.

• Coordinate and deliver condition assessment services, including inspecting building elements and sampling for suspected asbestos materials.

• Perform tenancy management services and maintenance inspections for Government Employee Housing.

• Promote and represent services to current and prospective clients.

• Ensure a safe and inclusive workplace by maintaining compliance with WHS, EEO, and HR standards.

• Proactively manage staff performance and foster a positive team culture.

About You

• This is not a FIFO role you must be a Bundaberg resident or a close enough commute

• Thorough knowledge of building construction and maintenance practices, including legislative and regulatory requirements.

• Experience with contract procedures and project supervision.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

• Ability to identify business opportunities and foster client relationships.

• Current Workplace Health and Safety General Safety Induction Card (White Card)

• Current Driver’s Licence
