The Opportunity

Are you an experienced call center professional with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for exceptional customer service? We are seeking a Maintenance Support Officer to join our team in Mackay, providing essential support for government housing maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle inbound and outbound calls related to maintenance requests for government housing properties.
• Provide outstanding customer service, actively listening and effectively communicating to address maintenance needs.
• Coordinate and arrange responsive maintenance services.
• Engage with customers to confirm or clarify information and de-escalate concerns as needed.
• Build strong relationships with both customers and contractors.
• Utilize relevant software, databases, and tools efficiently.
• Work towards meeting or exceeding call center performance metrics

About You

Skills & Experience Required:

✅ Call center experience with strong phone and de-escalation skills.

✅ Excellent problem-solving, multitasking, and decision-making abilities.

✅ Strong verbal and written communication skills.

✅ Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

✅ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams).

✅ Exceptional time management skills.
