Executive Assistant

Precruitment is partnering with two Key Local Governments in remote and regional Queensland and Northern Territory.

Please note you must be located/ willing to relocate to a regional area. This role can not be done remotely from home.

While prior Council experience is highly desirable, our clients main priority is securing someone with key EA skills and experience. This could be your opportunity to transition to Local Council!

• $80,000 – $88,000 base salary + super

About You
We’re looking for someone with:

• Outstanding organisation and multitasking skills
• The ability to handle confidential information with integrity
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Initiative and ownership of your own learning—you’re curious, resourceful, and not afraid to ask questions
• Previous experience in Local Council (highly desirable)
• Positive attitude

The role
This role goes beyond standard EA duties. You will assist with managing diaries, correspondence, travel, and meeting logistics, you'll work closely with the CEO and Mayor to support Council meetings, and prepare agendas and minutes. You’ll interact regularly with Councillors and internal stakeholders, balancing confidentiality, professionalism, and people skills every step of the way.
