Our Client is a part of the Cairns Community providing quality education and services in FNQ.
Your Opportunity
A Cafe Kitchen Assistant plays a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of a cafe kitchen. They collaborate closely with chefs and other kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and a clean, organized workspace. They also contribute significantly to the overall functioning of the kitchen, from food preparation to maintaining cleanliness and adhering to safety standards. Their dedication ensures a delightful dining experience for cafe patrons.
Total weekly hours
Monday 7 am – 10:30 am/11 am – 3:30 pm
Tuesday to Friday 7 am – 10:30 am/ 11 am – 3 pm
- Food preparation
- Kitchen Maintenance
- Food Safety and Hygiene
- Collaboration and Communication
About You
- Must have Food Handlers Certification
- Please only apply if you can do the above-mentioned hours
- Previous experience in similar type of role
- All certificates and tickets required for food preparation and service
- Can start immediately and stay for the entire contract and understand that there is no work during school holidays
- Strong team player and fantastic communication skills
