Please note this is a community-based role requiring full-time onsite presence; FIFO arrangements are not available. Prior experience working within a Queensland Local Council is essential.

• $110,000 – $120,000 + super (negotiable for the right fit)

About You
We’re looking for someone with a strong finance background, a calm and respectful approach, and the adaptability to thrive in a remote setting.

You’ll need:

• Previous experience within Local Council Finance
• Tertiary qualifications in accounting or a related field
• Experience with budgeting, financial reporting, audits, and compliance
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Experience managing AP/AR, payroll, and revenue functions
• Confidence working with systems (PCS Financials / Civica or similar)
• Current Queensland C-Class Driver Licence
