About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and commercially minded Associate Director to join our clients leadership team in Cairns. This is a unique opportunity to influence the firms direction, mentor a high-performing team, and manage a broad portfolio of business clients.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead and manage a portfolio of business clients across various industries.
  • Deliver expert tax, business advisory, and accounting services.
  • Mentor and develop junior staff and emerging leaders.
  • Drive process improvement and strategic firm initiatives.
  • Contribute to client growth and practice development.
  • Work closely with the Directors on firm strategy and leadership initiatives.

About You

To thrive in this role, you are a confident communicator, passionate about leadership, and focused on delivering high-quality client outcomes.

You will bring:

  • CA or CPA qualification (mandatory).
  • A minimum of 8 years' experience in public practice.
  • Demonstrated experience managing a team and client portfolio.
  • Strong technical expertise in taxation, accounting, and business advisory.
  • A continual development mindset and interest in business growth.
  • A genuine interest in playing an integral role in your staff’s development.
