POSITION
We have a full-time role available for a Tour Guide in Cairns, 4870 QLD.
SKILLS
The role requires you hold at least a relevant AQF (or equivalent) Certificate III and have at least one year of relevant work experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Tour Guide is responsible for delivering informative and engaging experiences to our visitors. They oversee the entire tour process from initial booking to tour experience. The role involves creating schedules, coordinating booking allocations for drivers and vehicles and providing guidance and assistance throughout the duration of the tour.
POSITION DUTIES
You will need to undertake the following duties:
- Provide customer service in-person, over the phone, and over email to ensure that customers have all required information, and they feel welcomed and comfortable from initial correspondence through to completion of the services.
- Manage the tour booking process, including creating manifests and coordinating booking allocations for drivers and vehicles. Maintaining records of these and any customer attendance.
- Ensure all logistical aspects of the tour are organized and executed efficiently to deliver a memorable experience for guests. This may include any bookings and transportation.
- Provide informative and engaging guidance during tours, offering insights into the various destinations and attractions visited. Assist guests with any inquiries, special requests, or concerns throughout the tour, ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally.
- Working with customers to tailor tour experiences based on guest preferences and interests, and time availability.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations throughout the tour, prioritizing the well-being and security of all participants.
- Stay informed about local laws, regulations, and cultural sensitivities to ensure a respectful and compliant tour experience.
- Collaborate effectively with booking agents, chauffeurs, and support staff to ensure seamless coordination and execution of tours.

SALARY
The salary offered will be $65,000 - $75,000 per annum based on experience.
