AO3 Business Support Officer - Longreach

This is not a fly-in fly-out role. Applicants must be residents of Longreach or live within a reasonable commuting distance.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and professional team player to deliver exceptional customer service and provide efficient, high-quality administrative support. In this role, you’ll work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, liaising with a variety of stakeholders to ensure services are delivered on time and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver excellent customer service to internal and external clients.

  • Coordinate travel arrangements including flights, accommodation, charters, ferries, and car hire within required timeframes.

  • Manage correspondence, telephone calls, and ensure timely responses.

  • Work effectively within KPI-driven systems that measure and monitor performance.

  • Engage with industry partners, local suppliers, and internal/external stakeholders for timely service delivery.

  • Contribute positively to team culture while undertaking recurring administrative tasks.

  • Balance customer satisfaction with business objectives, delivering practical, outcome-focused solutions.

  • Maintain high standards of accuracy in compiling documents, reports, and updating systems (Ellipse, Microsoft Office).

  • Use initiative to handle enquiries in the absence of senior staff.

  • Maintain and improve procedures, manuals, and registers.

  • Undertake general administrative functions as required.
