The Opportunity

Are you an experienced Senior Supervisor with a strong background in Building and Construction? We have an exciting opportunity based in Cairns (or surrounding areas within driving distance).

Please note: This is NOT a FIFO role and no relocation assistance is available.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Supervisor to join our team, supporting minor works projects. You will be responsible for producing high-quality tenders, quotations and ensuring all documentation is compliant with industry best practices and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality tenders and quotations for minor works projects.
• Prepare tender documentation ensuring compliance with departmental and industry standards.
• Utilise computer-based estimating packages for client quotations and estimates.
• Prepare accurate and timely estimates, quotations, material lists, and construction programs.
• Assist with the development and research of best practices in estimating, costing, and contract management.
• Work collaboratively with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to meet project requirements.
• Maintain a healthy and safe work environment, adhering to HR practices including employment equity, anti-discrimination, and workplace health and safety standards.

About You

• Solid building and construction trade background.
• Strong knowledge and experience in Estimating.
• High proficiency with computer-based estimating software.
• Hold a current Car License
• Clean Criminal History is mandatory.
• Must reside in Cairns or a surrounding area within reasonable driving distance.
