POSITION

We have full-time positions for Fruit Farm Workers in Coorumba, QLD, 4860.

SKILLS

You require at least 1 year of relevant work experience to perform the role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The role of the Fruit Farm Worker is to perform routine tasks as directed to assist with in banana crop cultivation.

POSITION DUTIES

You will need to undertake the following tasks;

• Meeting with farm supervisors to receive assigned tasks.
• Collecting and preparing equipment for daily use.
• Completing any prestart machinery checklists.
• Cleaning, sterilising, and maintaining equipment and machinery.
• Preforming general cultivation measures.
• Harvesting of bananas.
• Hanging, de-handing and washing bananas.
• Sorting, grading and packing bananas.
• Labelling and stamping produce for distribution.
• Weighing, stacking and strapping banana pellets
• Unpacking and storing farm supplies.
• Operating machinery to perform bagging, pruning, weeding, slashing, mulching, and fertiliser duties.
• Maintenance and repair of irrigation lines and sprinklers.
• Reporting completed tasks to the farm supervisor.
• Additional duties may be required from time to time as required by the business.

SALARY

The salary offered will be $65 000 to $75 000 per annum based on your experience. on your experience.
