POSITION

We have full-time positions for Fruit Farm Workers available in Mareeba 4880 QLD.

SKILLS

You require at least 1 year of relevant work experience

RESPONSIBILITIES

Your role as a Fruit Farm Worker is to perform routine tasks as directed to assist with in papaya crop cultivation.

POSITION DUTIES

You will need to undertake the following tasks;
• Meeting with farm supervisors to receive assigned tasks.
• Collecting and preparing equipment for daily use.
• Completing any prestart machinery checklists.
• Cleaning, sterilising, and maintaining equipment and machinery.
• Harvesting of papaya fruit.
• Sorting Grading and packing papaya.
• Stacking, stickering, tray labelling and light cleaning duties
• Operating machinery to perform misting, spraying, slashing and fertiliser duties.
• Maintenance and repair of irrigation lines and sprinklers.
• Additional duties may be required from time to time as required by the business.

SALARY

The salary offered will be $65 000 to $75 000 per annum negotiated based on your experience.
