A State Government Department is seeking a motivated and detail-focused Procurement Support Officer to join their team on a temporary basis. This role provides frontline support for procurement activities, acting as a key point of contact for customer enquiries and feedback relating to procurement instructions, procedures, guidelines, and standard forms.
You will support purchasing and procurement processes across the organisation, contributing to the efficient delivery of goods and services for regional operations. Key responsibilities include:
• Providing efficient, high-quality customer service and acting as a point of contact for procurement-related enquiries
• Providing purchasing, procurement, administrative, and contract management support to members, customers, and stakeholders
• Supporting procurement-related projects, including research, analysis, and report preparation
• Ordering materials and processing purchase orders, work orders, field release orders, and related documentation
• Supporting the effective delivery of goods and services for regional operations
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation in line with organisational requirements
• Demonstrating professionalism and contributing positively to team culture

You are a reliable and detail-oriented professional who understands the importance of procurement in achieving organisational outcomes and delivering quality customer service.
