POSITION

We have a full time position available for a Manager Condition Monitoring in Stuart, QLD 4811.

SKILLS

The role requires you to have at least a relevant AQF Diploma or equivalent and at least 12 months of relevant work experience. If no formal qualification is held, at three years of relevant work experience is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be responsible for delivering accurate, safe, and high quality inspection services across a range of client equipment and assets. The role involves delivering condition monitoring services (vibration, ultrasound, thermography, and lubrication), including data analysis, fault diagnosis, and reporting, while coordinating programs and supporting reliability improvements. The role ensures compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards, manages equipment, records, and administrative tasks, and maintains client relationships. The role also supports mechanical engineering activities such as preparing drawings, assisting in design, selecting tools, installing mechanical systems, conducting testing, analysing data, and ensuring work meets specifications.

DUTIES

  • Vibration analysis: data collection, spectral analysis, diagnosis, balancing/alignment oversight.
  • Ultrasound: mechanical condition checks, steam trap surveys, electrical inspections where applicable.
  • Thermography: inspection planning, image interpretation, reporting and prioritisation.
  • Lubrication condition monitoring: sampling programs, lab liaison, trending, contamination control guidance.
  • Support deployment/maintenance of online condition monitoring where applicable (sensors, gateways, dashboards).
  • Prepare drawings, plans, and basic mechanical designs under the direction of engineers and assist in the design and development of mechanical equipment and plant
  • Plan and manage delivery of condition monitoring programs (route-based, online systems, shutdown support).
  • Coordinate resourcing, scheduling, logistics, and site access to meet client deadlines.
  • Provide technical review and sign-off of reports to ensure consistency, accuracy, and actionability.
  • Lead investigations and provide reliability improvement recommendations.
  • Drive standardisation of collection methods, alarm limits, and reporting templates.
  • Lead all work in accordance with WHS requirements, site standards, and company safety systems.
  • Take responsibility for the technical content and timely provision of reports to clients.
  • Develop and adhere to budgets and programs to deliver projects within constraints.
  • Complete reporting and record keeping.
