POSITION

We have a full-time position of Waiter Supervisor in Edge Hill, QLD.

SKILLS

• At least a relevant Certificate III; and
• Have at least 1 year of relevant work experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As our Waiter Supervisor, you will play a key leadership role in maintaining the vibrant, welcoming, and slightly quirky charm our regulars have come to know and love. You’ll be responsible for coordinating our front-of-house team to deliver attentive, upbeat service that reflects our reputation.

DUTIES

• Supervise and provide training to junior food and beverage attendants.
• Make roster recommendations for front-of-house staff and escalate or report any issues to the management where necessary.
• Oversee daily front of house operations, including reservations, dining services and events. This will involve managing guest reservations, welcoming and seating guests, and presenting menus and beverage lists.
• Assist with any receipt and dispersing of money where necessary. Including assisting the general manager with any end-of-day and closure procedures.
• Manage inventory levels of service-related supplies and coordinate procurement if necessary.
• Set up and arrange tables in preparation for service. Assign sections to relevant wait staff at the start of shift and make changes accordingly to ensure smooth operations.
• Take customer orders and communicate them accurately to kitchen and bar staff.
• Assist in the serving of food and beverages and ensuring this is served to guests in a timely and courteous manner.
• Remove empty bottles and used glassware, and refill or replace as necessary.
• Process payments and operate POS systems and cash registers.

SALARY

The successful applicant will receive a salary from $65,000 to $80,000 based on qualification and experience.
