The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Contracts Administrator to join a busy and supportive project delivery team.

Working closely with Project Managers, you will play a key role in the administration of construction contracts, tender documentation and project controls, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and in accordance with contractual and compliance requirements. This is a varied role where no two days are the same, offering exposure across the full project lifecycle from tender through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate tender and subcontractor administration
  • Read and interpret contracts, specifications and tender documentation
  • Manage RFQs, subcontractor correspondence and project documentation
  • Maintain project registers, document control and records management
  • Monitor client and subcontractor variations throughout project delivery
  • Support Project Managers with project administration and reporting
  • Prepare project documentation for handover and project completion
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, consultants and suppliers to ensure timely project outcomes

About You

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

  • Previous experience in a Contracts Administrator, Project Administrator or similar construction role
  • Sound understanding of construction contracts, tendering processes and project documentation
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and electronic document management systems
  • Ability to manage competing priorities while meeting project deadlines
  • A proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
  • Experience working within the building and construction industry is essential
  • Experience working with Indigenous communities will be highly regarded
