POSITION

We have full-time positions for a Truck Drivers available in Mount Louisa QLD 4814.

SKILLS

The role requires you to have;

• at least a relevant Certificate II or Certificate III or at least 12 months of relevant work experience OR
• 2 Years of relevant work experience AND
• Heavy Vehicle Truck Licence

POSITION PURPOSE

As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for the collection and delivery of dry and refrigerated goods to and from the depot to enable transport operation schedules are met in while ensuring that all work is completed within the rules set under Chain of Responsibility (CoR), and in a safe manner.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS

You will be reporting to Depot Manager, Managing Director, Directors.

MAIN DUTIES

• The position will require you to perform the following duties;
• Deliver dry and refrigerated goods from the depot to customers as per relevant schedules
• Collect dry and refrigerated goods from customers and return goods to the depot
• Carry out temperature and pallet recording procedures on pick-up and delivery of goods
• Operate fleet in a safe manner in order to minimize the risk of injury and property damage
• Operate manual and electric pallet jacks as required in a safe manner in order to minimize the risk of injury and property damage
• Maintain a safe workplace, safe loading practices and ensure truck/trailer lockout procedures are adhered to for every vehicle that is loaded/unloaded
• Complete all required documentation for each consignment and each transport trip
• Complete temperature probe or ray-gun checks for every consignment and record on customers connote prior to accepting goods.
• Adhere to National Road Laws while driving to the conditions at all times
• Perform daily safety and maintenance prestart checks
• Ensure company vehicles are in clean, tidy and roadworthy manner and is safely and securely stored at the end of each day
• Ensure depot and general work environment is always in a clean, tidy and organised manner
• Report any safety or hazard concerns to the Depot Manager
• Perform other duties as required from time to time

SALARY

The base salary offered will be $70 000 to $80 000 per annum based on your experience.
