POSITION

We have a full-time position for a Retail Supervisor available in Portsmith, 4870

SKILLS

Have at least a relevant AQF Certificate II or above and at least 12 months of relevant work experience. If no relevant qualification is held, at least 2 years of relevant work experience is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Retail Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, ensuring customers receive excellent service and high-quality products. This role includes supervising staff, handling customer inquiries, maintaining stock levels, and ensuring the store operates efficiently and profitably.

POSITION DUTIES

  • Deliver excellent customer service, maintain high standards and promptly address inquiries and complaints regarding products and services.
  • Provide staff with guidance on handling complex and challenging sales situations.
  • Organise and oversee work schedules, ensuring efficient task delegation.
  • Assist in the recruitment and training of new staff, promoting team growth and ensuring smooth transition into the team and workflows.
  • Resolve staff grievances and foster a positive work environment.
  • Regularly monitor stock levels, take inventory of goods and place orders for new stock to avoid shortages and maintain optimal inventory.
  • Ensure products are well-stocked and displayed correctly.
  • Ensure all goods and services are correctly priced.
  • Maintain a high standard of store organisation and cleanliness.
  • Enforce safety and security procedures to ensure a safe shopping and working environment.
  • Monitor sales performance, identify operational challenges or inefficiencies and recommend and implement solutions to optimise store operations.

SALARY

The salary offered will be $70,000 to $80,000 per annum, negotiated based on your experience.
