The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Senior Estimator to join the team in Townsville.
In this senior role, you will lead and support a team of Estimators and support staff to achieve successful project delivery outcomes. You will manage estimating programs and projects, particularly those considered medium to high risk, significant or complex in nature.
You will be responsible for producing high-quality estimates and quotation documentation for building projects, ensuring compliance with relevant policies, tendering and contract methods, departmental requirements and client expectations.
The role will also involve research and development across project planning, budgeting, estimating, programming, delivery and procurement practices. You will report on estimating programs and projects, while building strong client relationships through effective communication, negotiation and the delivery of timely, professional and competitive estimates.
About You
You are an experienced senior estimator with a strong background in building construction and maintenance, and the confidence to lead people and manage complex estimating projects.
To be successful, you will have:
A current clean driver's licence is mandatory for this position.
