The Opportunity

Our client is seeking a passionate Team Leader who loves playing a proactive role in attaining the best out of their team with the ability to lead by example. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about social justice, thrives in a dynamic environment, and excels at motivating and developing others.

In this role, you will play a pivotal role in leading, managing and supporting a team of Support Workers with the day-to-day operation to ensure a coordinated, consistent, and high-quality approach to service delivery.

As part of this role, your responsibilities will include:

• Reporting outcomes in line with the relevant service agreements and the requirements of the other stakeholders.
• Provide clear and detailed mandatory reporting.
• Lead, manage and assist Support Workers in their day to day operations to ensure a coordinated, consistent, and high-quality approach to service delivery to our participants.
• Absence cover when staff are not available.
• Comply with code of conduct, procedures and practices, external funding body requirements and legislation.
• Apply and uphold principles of equity and anti-discrimination in the workplace and adhere to organisational and legislative Health, Safety and Environment requirements.
• Identify relevant training for staff members.
• Manage your team's performance and conduct relevant meetings accordingly.

• Experience in managing budgets, resources, and operational processes.
• A thorough understanding of relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory frameworks.
• Maintain a proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organized approach to your work, with a passion for community service.
• A commitment to the values of justice, equity, and inclusion.
